February when my mom started going; she would try and get
me to go, but I would just say "You are never going to
get me to go to a hick place like that". After her undying
persistence of trying to get me to go and a little encouragement
from my sister, who already worked at Wink's, I decided I'd
give it a try. The moment I walked into the place, I had a
warm feeling that this restaurant was like nowhere else: the
unique setting and good people made it a place that I knew
I wanted to work in.
Wink and Linda,
I just wanted to thank you guys for everything you've done
for me. You all put up with my corny jokes and sometimes immature
behavior and are always there when I need something.
I've learned so much from Wink that I will carry as unforgettable
experiences for the rest of my life. Linda has taught me to
watch what I say and that hard work will go far; because of
Linda I've seen that even the toughest cookies need a break,
and I appreciate her perseverance in the workplace.
Again, thank you for hiring me and keeping me around.
I will never forget Wink, Linda, or Wink's Saloon no matter
where I go in life.

PS. As I told you today, I am a member of The Midnight Rodeo

with some clients that I wanted to impress. I had no idea
that inbetween the band, you would play hip hop. And what
is up with the waitresses dancing? If we wanted to see women
dancing, we would chose to go there. I was truly disappointed
in the direction you are taking the whole cowboy theme. I
just read your email to the other person stating that it was
a cowboy place and country/classic rock were what you were
going to stick to. I would appreciate it if maybe you rethought
in which way you want to take your bar. Your establishment
is a great place, don't experiment at the risk of losing what
you set out to do, which is a great country bar that sets
it apart from the rest. I hope that you go back to the basics
that made your business uniquely yours. Thanks for reading.

I am glad to hear you had a great time. As far as the music
is concerned we only play Country & Classic Rock. There
are too many places that play tejano music and theres none
to cater to the country music fans.We also took a small survey
of our regular crowd and 98% were in favor of country music
and classic rock. I myself grew up on country music. Thank
